Members of the Stapleford Combined Services Club and Stapleford Community Group have been out and about around Stapleford putting Poppies up.
100 Poppies have now been put up around the town to mark the centenary of the Poppy Appeal.
Later this month both groups will have representatives inside the Stapleford Aldi Store with a table selling Poppy related items with 100% of all donations collected going directly to the Royal British Legion.
Silent Soldiers have also been placed in the Walter Parker VC Memorial Square.
On Thursday 11th November at 11am there will also be a short service in the Walter Parker VC Memorial Square where members of the Stapleford Combined Services Club and Stapleford Community Group will be joined by the Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor Richard MacRae to mark the occasion as #StaplefordRemembers them.
