Buses will be diverted and traffic needs to use the A52, Moorbridge Lane or Toton Lane and Brookhill Street as the centre of Stapleford is currently closed to through traffic due to an ongoing incident.
Fire Brigade are currently in attendance.
Nottinghamshire Lie reported:
Firefighters were at the scene of a fire in a Nottinghamshire town which broke out in the early hours of today.
Crews were called to an outside storage unit at a property in Derby Road, Stapleford. The road was closed by emergency services to help fight the fire.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called to the scene at 4.21am on Tuesday, December 22.
They said three appliances attended the scene.
he fire has now been extinguished and Derby Road reopened.
Police say one man was treated for smoke inhalation.
Officers currently remain at the scene and a joint investigation will begin to establish the circumstances of how the fire began.
