Advice to residents as Government Green Homes Grant launches

Green Homes Scheme

Following the launch of the Green Homes Grant, the Council’s Trading Standards service would like to remind you to exercise caution if you are looking to use the grant for improvements to your homes.

The grant allows traders who are accredited to carry out the work requested. But officers from across the county are concerned the door may be left open for fraudulent traders to exploit the trust of consumers.
