Tomorrow marks The 75th Anniversary of VE Day on Friday 8th May. We’ve had lots of great stories from across the Borough as well a some photos from the war.

Tomorrow our social media channels will focus on sharing these stories, poems and photos with our residents, as well as messages from community leaders and a specially written poem to mark the day.
In addition to the national two-minutes silence at 11.00am on Friday 8th May, we have listed below some other ideas and downloads to help you mark the day. You can also find out more about other activities taking place on the Royal British Legion website and the Government VE Day website.
It’s not too late to send us in your photos of your windows or celebrations on the day, just tag us in your photos using #Broxtowe75 and we’ll share them!
