  1. Can anybody confirm whether or not there will be hustings for those candidates wishing to represent Bramcote in the forthcoming local elections?

Our area is on the cusp of some very significant changes and challenges. The loss of Green Belt; development of the golf course; 500 houses on the Coventry Lane playing fields; the need for a new school; concerns about the future of the leisure centre; changing demographics; pressure on transport and social infrastructure. And all this within the context of the Bramcote Neighbourhood Plan, which has been generated by the Forum and the community.

There can’t have been a more important time for the people of Bramcote to be confident in their elected representatives. To this end it would be very useful to hear the candidates in a moderated meeting.
