Councillor Martin Plackett reports – ‘Following a £50,000 grant from WREN and monies from Broxtowe Borough Council ‘Pride in our Parks’ Campaign sufficient funds are now available for new recreational play areas and equipment to be installed in Bramcote’s King George V Park. Thanks to the Conservation Society and their discussions with the Environment Department and Residents who responded to the consultation detailed plans and an approximate commencement date of the project will no doubt be announced by the Council in due course.’
