The Broxtowe community will stand together at a short ceremony to mark Holocaust Memorial Day at 11.00am on 28 January 2019. Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe, Councillor Derek Burnett BEM will join fifteen-year-old Youth Mayor William Mee, in delivering readings to reflect the theme of this year’s event, ‘Torn from Home’, along with people whose circumstances have led them to make Broxtowe their home.
The ceremony will take place near the Refugee Statue in The Walled Garden, Bramcote Hills Park, Bramcote.
