Is this road closure between February and March set times or 24hr block

The County Council have informed that despite my representation to open in the evening the road will be closed 24/7 for the whole period of installation. Appropriate signs indicating that Town Street Businesses are ‘open as usual’ will be posted. Have asked that the road closure be kept to the minimum.

Hi Richard, we will be placing notices on to the buses in the next couple of days, however 18 will be diverting via Derby Road, Wollaton Road and Station Road in both directions to/from Beeston.
Above is my reply from the Company who now operate the 18 Bus Service. So missing out Bramcote and Chilwell .

We live on HIgh Road Chjilwell, just before the left turn on to School Lane . The traffic here is heavy enough already without the added traffic volume trying to get to the A52 on your diversion route. The air pollution from vehicle fumes is bad enough for the residents and the road surface is poor. If this diversion goes on through to the end of March it will be a nightmare. We need less traffic on this road – not more!
