Bramcote Park Forgotten Again?

Broxtowe Borough Council are conducting a survey on what resident’s think about parks in Broxtowe. King Georges Park, Town Street, Bramcote is not included. Why is that? See https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BroxtoweParksSurvey2018

Since publishing this article, Broxtowe Borough Council’s Communication and Content Officer has asked that we add the following:
“Our Annual Parks/Open Spaces survey seeks to find out what people think of parks/open spaces in the Borough. As we have many green spaces across Broxtowe, we limit these surveys to parks/open spaces that have not recently been assessed or have received improvement works to see whether or not they now reach the Broxtowe Parks Standard. King George’s Park was last assessed in 2016 and achieved the Standard, so this year we did not seek people’s thoughts on the park. We will however be consulting later this year on proposed improvements to the children’s play area.”

  1. I’m glad it isn’t included- we love that park how it is!
Also it does say they are surveying larger playgrounds only

  2. May I assure Bramcote residents that King George V Park has NOT been forgotten.

Plans for a refurbished toddlers area, a new close by older children’s play area and a separate area incorporating outdoor fitness equipment is under consideration dependant upon hoped for funding to implement during the financial year 2019/2020
A consultation by the Borough Council of users/potential users is planned for later in the year.
Really good and exciting news for this lovely Park in our village.
