A52 Grass Verges will be cut shortly

Councillor Martin Plackett writes ‘Have just been informed by Highways England that the somewhat overdue first of 8 cuts of the grass verges on our urban stretch of the A 52 will be undertaken hopefully on Friday 18th May’
‘I am hoping too that maintenance by Broxtowe Borough Council on the Sherwin Island will also be undertaken on the same day.’

  1. Jeremy the Borough Council can only undertake litter picking at such times Highways England provide traffic management on the A 52. The rural stretch between the Bradills and Sherwin Islands is scheduled to be cut twice a year and next planned in July. At such time with adequate traffic management in place it is hoped the Council will undertake litter picking along this stretch.
