Bramcote Hills park height restriction barrier

Following the problems with Travellers earlier in the year Broxtowe Borough Council are fitting a height restriction barrier at the Car Park to Bramcote Park off Ilkeston Road.

This will allow cars and vehicles under 2 metres in height unrestricted access, but will stop larger vehicles and caravans etc. The car park will remain open 24 hours. I am told that the Emergency Services have keys to such Barriers.

The post will be in a few days to let the concrete set, then the top will be attached and left in an open position for a short while. A sign will go up to warn people and the barrier will be moved across after a certain date.
