The Friends of Bramcote Old Church Tower have secured Heritage Lottery Funding of over £350,000 to restore and enhance the Old Church Tower in Bramcote Village. Broxtowe’s MP Anna Soubry supported an application for Heritage Lottery Funding to save the 13th Century, Grade II Listed building which was in a state of disrepair.

Anna said: “Congratulations to the Friends of Bramcote Old Church Tower whose hard work now means that the ‘sunken church’ and its surroundings will be restored for the community.”

“I wrote to support their application in 2015 when they received an additional £50,000 of lottery funding and I’m pleased that the campaign has been successful.”
