A few crimes to be aware of from around the Broxtowe South area:-

Theft of Vehicle

18/08/2017 – Middleton Crescent, Beeston

Damage to Vehicles

12/08/2017 – 13/08/2017 – Banks Road,Toton
17/08/2017 – Waverly Avenue, Beeston
19/08/2017 – Station Road, Beeston

Theft from Motor Vehicle

16/08/2017 – 17/08/2017 – Brailsford Way, Chilwell – vehicle entered and items stolen from within.
20/08/2017 – Oakfield Road, Stapleford – vehicle entered and items stolen.

Theft Other

15/08/2017 – Church Street Stapleford – lead stolen from bay window.
19/08/2017 – Beeston Town Centre – Giant Revel 4 Hardtail mountain bike stolen.

Burglary Other Than Dwelling

11/08/2017 – 15-082017 – Moss Drive, Bramcote – shed entered and items stolen from within,
15/08/2017 – 16/08/2017 – Rushes Close, Beeston – shed entered and motorbike stolen.
18/08/2017 – Town Stret, Bramcote – attempt theft of lead.

We are still getting bike thefts….please use a d lock where possible. Chain locks can be easily cropped and it can take less than 1 minute to steal a bike. Don’t risk losing your bike.


2 shop lifters detained and arrested.

Lady lost her handbag in the town centre with a quantity of money inside, this was handed into Beeston Police station and the lady was reunited with her bag.

Town Centre has been steady over the past week so if you are coming to visit us please make sure you remember to pick up all your belongings and check before moving elsewhere.
