Water Leak on Church Street Stapleford

road.jpgCouncillor Richard MacRae reports:

The water leak is causing the road to fall apart. I reported this to Seven Trent weeks ago now and having been away on holiday I was so angry to see that it’s not yet been repaired when I got back the other night.

It has been reported to Seven Trent and Nottinghamshire County Council, by local residents and the Leader of Stapleford Town Council Councillor, Dave Pearson as well as myself.

Having been out to look again today it’s that bad that you can get your hand in the hole.

  1. Councillor Richard MacRae says:

Have since been sent the following press release from Seven Trent.

    Good afternoon Cllr MacRae

RE: Leak on Church Street, Stapleford.

As requested via Twitter an email confirming the press release regarding the above leak:

“We’d like to apologise for the delay that’s been caused in getting this problem fixed, we prioritise our repairs based on the impact on customers and in this case the leak wasn’t having an effect on local supplies. We’ll have engineers on site tomorrow to complete the repair.”
