Invitation to a Community Exhibition Consultation

New School & Residential Development Moor Lane, Bramcote, Nottingham.

This event will provide an opportunity to meet representatives from the Project Team, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We hope that you will be able to attend, so that we may learn about any local issues that may need to be considered before the application is submitted

The exhibition will be held on: Wednesday 19th April 2017 from 3pm – 7pm at Bramcote College, Moor Lane, Bramcote, Nottingham NG9 3GA

This event will provide you with the opportunity to comment on the draft proposals before the planning application is submitted to Broxtowe Borough Council. A questionnaire will be available for you to complete at the event.

Once we’ve taken on board your comments, submission of the planning application will promptly follow. The application will then be considered by Broxtowe Borough Council when you will be provided further opportunity to make comments on the detail of the proposals as part of the Council’s formal consultation process, via www.broxtowe.gov.uk

One Response to Invitation to a Community Exhibition Consultation

  1. Visitors to this afternoon’s event will have enjoyed the friendly explanations of the proposals for the new school buildings on Moor Lane. Ground floor secondary, upper storey sixth form and potentially a separate entrance for evening access by the public to some of the facilities. A compact, modern design for much needed new buildings.

However the proposal for FIVE HUNDRED new houses/ flats is staggering.

Along with the sites recently granted planning permission this would mean little Bramcote would accommodate some 640+ new houses. That is over 10% of the entire housing target for Broxtowe.

And that is without the extra houses it seems the County Council is thinking of on the Bramcote School site.

As for a rebuilt leisure centre? No sign of that, yet?
