Topographical Survey on Bramcote Hills Park

David Watts has informed us: “During the next few days a topographical survey will be undertaken on Bramcote Park, in the area close to the children’s play area. This is for the architects designing the concept drawings for the community café and toilets. As well as mapping the levels of the site they will be identifying the drainage and manhole covers. We wanted to let people know in advance that this was happening to avoid any worries or misunderstandings if workmen are seen on the park.

The designs for the café will be on display at the Hemlock Happening so that we can get peoples feedback before submitting a planning application.

Whilst writing may I encourage people to donate to the costs of building the café. We have raised several thousand pounds already but we still need to raise much more. Our largest individual donation to date is £300 and the smallest was £1. Every single one helps and every single one is appreciated. The smaller donations are just as important as the bigger ones. You can donate via our website at”

Thank you David for your and the Team’s efforts here.

  2. David,

At tonight’s Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum meeting I presented a draft Proposals Map for the Neighbourhood Plan. Once you have a specific location for the Cafe do send it through so it can be added to the draft Plan.
