Sandiacre Police offer residents crime prevention freebies

dont-botherOur officers from the Sandiacre Safer Neighbourhood Team will be handing out free crime prevention goodies to people from the village.

The team is holding a crime prevention event this Saturday 1pm-4pm (February 11) in the car park of the Sandiacre library, in Doncaster Avenue, and officers are inviting people from the village to attend. PCSO Andy Freeman says the Derbyshire colleges are holding this event and have kindly opened it up to all residents in and around Stapleford.

As well as giving out general crime prevention advice, the team will also be distributing security freebies such as ‘Don’t Bother’ car security kits and shed alarms. They will also be available to property mark valuables such as power and garden tools.

The team will be in the library car park between 1pm and 4pm.
