Broxtowe Borough Council’s Leisure Parks and Cemeteries Committee at its meeting this evening approved the Bramcote Hills Park Community Interest Company as the preferred applicant to provide Catering and Toilet Facilities in Bramcote Hills Park.

The Company are to be invited to further develop their proposals with additional information in a submission to the Council to be provided by the Summer of 2017.

Excellent news, and very well done to all those involved!

One Response to Bramcote Hills Park – Catering and Toilet Facility

Thanks Martin, this has been a real community effort so far and will continue to be so. The next phase involves fully developing the plans and also raising the funds necessary, which will probably be between £400,000 and £750,000 depending on the specification that we eventually run with. We obviously have a number of ideas of our own but would welcome any suggestions that people have or useful contacts that they can put us in touch with.

We now have nearly 60 members of the company. Anyone else interested is still welcome to sign up. Membership gives you a say in appointing the directors and also in steering how the company goes forward. It is free of charge but you don;t get a share of the profits. As a community interest company we will be putting those back into the community.

If you wish to sign up please let me know.
