Wiz Around Oz at Bramcote Hills Theatre Event

Calling all muchkins! Visitors to Bramcote Hills Park can enjoy a spontaneous, interactive, fun filled walking adventure through the magical woods of Bramcote Hills Park this September, as part of the D.H Lawrence Festival of Culture.

Dorothy has lost Toto, The Cowardly Lion has lost the Scarecrow, the wicked witch has lost the plot and the Great Wiz has lost his marbles! Join the award winning ‘Walking Theatre Company’ for the special outdoor theatre experience on Saturday 10th September starting at 2.30pm.

Tickets are available from Broxtowe Borough Council’s Events Team and cost £2.00 for adults, £1.00 for children or £5.00 for a family ticket to include two adults and up to three children.

The event is all outdoors be prepared for all weathers and bring an umbrella if wet.

This year marks the second year of the D.H. Lawrence Festival of Culture with a variety of arts and cultural events taking place in Eastwood, Nuthall, Stapleford, Beeston and beyond. Running from 25th August until the end of September, the programme includes a beer festival, comedy, exhibitions, pedal powered cinema, family fun days, a traditional fair, music events and much more.

The Festival is coordinated by Broxtowe Events, The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum team and a festival steering group.
