An absolute disgrace if this goes through.

As I’ve said before, I have no particular axe to grind about this area: however if you and all the people you say are against any planning application on the old golf course, why don’t you all club together and buy the place. Then you can keep it as it is without any buildings, keep the public out (private land) and let it revert to the nature reserve that you would like to see. The only downside is that you would have to keep the old building and car park area in good order. Simple really if you think about it.

Hello. Could the owners not rent the field out for grazing. That way it would generate a small amount of money for the owner, the tenant could keep it tidy and the wildlife would thrive.

  3. This is an important case in a series of cases on how we see our place developing over time. Change is inevitable but the nature of that change is down to each generation to determine. I have reflected on this in my blog below.

I’m surprised that an e-mail hasn’t been circulated to those that provided one at the earlier meetings to make it clear that the council support the planning application.
I received the update from ‘Bramcote Today’ but in the legalese jargon I missed this.
It only became apparent when a flyer was posted through my letterbox a few days ago. I fear others may be similarly ill-informed.

It is unfortunate that I have not been able to circulate the ‘Group’ emails as I had intended to do. I have unfortunately upgraded my computer Windows 10 and for some reason since then I have not been able to send ‘Group’ emails.
