Island Partnership Maintenance Agreement

Chris Riley, Broxtowe Borough Council, confirms a Partnership deal with Nottingham City Council with regard to sponsorship for the maintenance of Sherwin Island:

Dear Councillor Plackett,

A partnership agreement is now in place with the City Council. The City Council will promote and manage sponsorship, paying a percentage of any income to the Borough Council.

The Borough Council remains responsible for the installation of signage as our part of the agreement.

It is planned to erect signage on the A52 Bramcote island to offer it up for sponsorship, but I am awaiting confirmation from Highways England that this is acceptable. Once I have their approval I will confirm to you direct.

I understand interest has been shown in sponsoring the bank flower bed, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Regards,

Chris
