Trentbarton Fare Changes

Trentbarton write: We’ll be making some changes to our fares over the next few months.

Single fares will increase by around 10p, whilst 2-trip tickets will increase by around 20p.

We’ve frozen cash fares since 2014 but during this time our costs have continued to grow. These latest fare changes will enable us to continue to invest in vehicles and features, making sure we remain the really good bus company.

As someone who usually goes to work on the bus I’m happy to pay a bit extra to maintain this excellent service. It’s much better than the alternative.

This is no surprise. Perhaps now they will put the air conditioning they advertise actually on especially on the the i4 and 21. Also will this mean they will provide more services for the people of North Stapleford, like a bus that goes to the tram, and even extending the 18 service so we can go out and return from Beeston without catching a separate bus to Queen’s Med. I realise all bus companies have to make profits, but they also have to respond to the needs of the community.
