Toton Lane Essential Gas Works

Councillor Jacky Williams reports: I have been monitoring the situation and have now had assurances, from both officers at the County Council and the contractors, that the work will be completed by Monday 16th. It has been causing havoc on Toton Lane and surrounding roads that feed in, including Bardill’s island and the A52.

The contractor has been trying to manually over ride the lights at peak times to avoid the build up on the Island, but this has been complicated by the 4 way lights and the pedestrian crossing.

Hopefully we will be back to normal next week.
