From archery, netball and clubbercise to running, softball, dodgeball, karate and more, the sessions are all about girl power, fun and fitness rather than competition. There’s also chance to win a FITBIT to track your progress!
Lesley Linsdell, 51, from Stapleford and daughter Rebecca, 22, also from Stapleford have signed up and are looking forward to it. Lesley said: “Both myself and my daughter work full time and it gives us an opportunity to spend time together whilst keeping fit. Trying out different activities that I would not normally be able to experience is an added bonus.”
The first session will take place at Bramcote Hills Sports and Community College on Thursday 28th April at 7.00pm with a free goody bag to anyone who comes along.
Sessions will then continue each Thursday at the same time and location, meeting outside the barn off Moor Lane.
Each session costs just £1.00 and is a great opportunity to find a new activity to keep you fit and active, whilst meeting some new friends at the same time.
The Project is funded through the Sport Nottinghamshire Innovation Fund.
