    If you want old photos of Bramcote go to Google. “Britain from The Air”- some great shots!!

    Maybe someone from Highways Agency, or their minions, could enlighten us exactly why the island needed to be wrecked, as looking at that it seems perfect. Would Jan Goold write and ask please.

    Quite right Ian, there was nothing wrong with it as it was..Some people said it was overgrown and obscuring drivers views..Total rubbish. If drivers got in the right lanes and followed the traffic lights there was no problem.
