Councillor Martin Plackett writes: Broxtowe Borough Council Environment Director has advised me that BBC Staff have today received safety briefing and training enabling them to work on the Bramcote Island.

With regard to future works 6000 Montbretia bulbs have been ordered and it hoped they will be planted on the 30th March.
