Reminder re tonight’s CAT meeting at 7pm

If you are interested in the future for Bramcote, take a look at tonight’s agenda and join us at the memorial Hall at 7pm.CAT  Paul Heery, Head of White Hills Park Federation and Paul Nathanail will be speaking about their plans and vision for Bramcote. Sarah yates will also be giving an update on the development of the Broxtowe Borough Council website.  Have a look before the meeting.  There is an opportunity for you to have your say on line, also.

  1. I cannot speak for Paul Heary but I will be speaking not about my own vision for Bramcote but how we can all form a shared vision and work towards making it happen. The time to decide what we value about the place we all live in is now. The time to have our voices heard is now. Silence means accepting whatever our council officers and councillors decide.

  2. Last month’s AGM of the Bramcote Hills Community Association passed a motion that has set in motion actions that could result in a Neighbourhood Plan for Bramcote rather than having Broxtowe Borough Council decide matters for us in Part 2 of the Local Plan.
    The process is simple: find out what we want for our area, make sure it complies with the in place Aligned Core Strategy, get our plan checked, vote on it and… ehm, that’s it.

    (there is a bit of sweat and perhaps even some fun on the way)
