Tram Frequency‏

IMG_0444Barry Morrison writes: The tram has been running through Beeston to Chilwell now for about six months and, spending a fair amount of time in Beeston, I’m beginning to wonder if the frequency of the tram times should be curtailed.

They seem to be running far too often after about 9-30am to 15-30pm(every 7 minutes I believe) with seemingly no more than about 15% passengers on board.

Surely, this cannot be cost effective given the running costs of the trams.

People will be able to see for themselves how full the trams are. It is good to hear that NET are looking at increasing the frequency.
