Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas – there’s lots happening in Broxtowe over the coming months and residents can now stay up to date with the latest events and more, thanks to Broxtowe Borough Council’s Email Me Service.
Over 500 people have subscribed to the email-alert service since it launched last month to receive information on a host of Council Services including everything from Latest News, What’s On, Jobs, Town Centres and Business to Waste and Recycling, Leisure, Sport and more.
The new ‘Email Me’ service allows residents to subscribe to email alerts on the Council services that matter to them, all direct to their inbox.
Portfolio Holder for Resources, Councillor Paul Simpson said: “We know that our residents like to be kept up to date with the things that matter to them and the new “Email me” service will help our residents feel better informed about Council services and allow us to be more responsive to their needs.
“Not everyone is online and we will still be communicating with our residents using our existing channels but the new “Email Me” Service recognises that some people prefer to engage with us online and is a great way to get updates and news on these areas direct to your inbox.”
