Zoë Cockcroft, Chair, Stapleford and Trowell Rural Action Group writes: TWO drop-off information events will be held in Stapleford and Beeston by Cerda Planning (on behalf of site owner Westerman) about the detailed proposals for a residential development on land located at Field Farm, Stapleford, Nottinghamshire next Tuesday 15 September:
– from 9am to 1pm at Washington Drive Community Centre, Washington Drive, Stapleford NG9 8PY
– from 3pm to 7pm at The Old Council Chambers, Beeston Town Hall, Foster Avenue, Beeston, NG9 1AE.
Stapleford and Trowell Rural Action Group (STRAG) urges members of the public to come to either, examine the proposals and express any concerns to the design team. The full planning application hasn’t been submitted yet and this is an opportunity to try and reduce the damage to be caused by the development. As previously communicated, STRAG is advocating for the most valuable land, in the regional ecological corridor, to be kept free of development, compensated if necessary by higher-density, well-designed housing in the remainder.
