We understand that Grace Carter is a member of the first ever British Volleyball Team to compete at an Olympics. Unfortunately they have not progressed to the Quarter Finals from the Group Stage. They recorded a win against Algeria but lost four matches to the other teams in the Group. If they had beaten Japan today Sunday 5 August and other results had gone their way they might have progressed.  It was not to be.  UK Sport had not granted funding but that did not stop them raising the necessary funds themselves. The members of the team rode a 270 mile cycle ride to raise money. More information can be found here.
