Rushcliffe Jobs Fair – Thursday, 5 July

Unemployed people should head to the first Rushcliffe Jobs Fair on Thursday 5 July at West Bridgford Community Hall, Church Drive, West Bridgford (NG2 6AY). People can just drop in from 10am until 3pm.
Organised by Rushcliffe Borough Council and Jobcentre Plus, the event will showcase employers with jobs to people who need jobs and apprenticeship placements. Some of the Council’s apprentices will be on hand to tell people about the benefits they’ve gained.
South Nottingham College will offer its matching service – a mini assessment exercise to help marry the skills people have with job opportunities. They will also give advice about training and courses on offer to improve skills. Jobcentre plus will bring their latest vacancies and give advice.
Notts County Council will cover positive activities to help people get job-ready and help people with CVs and to fill out applications.
